On the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar (around 2–4 hours, longer for very large vessels).
Burn for no longer than 4 hours at a time to maintain fragrance quality and extend the life of the candle.
Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn to help prevent smoking, soot and tunnelling.
Always place the candle on a stable, heat‑resistant surface.
Stop burning when around 10 mm of wax remains at the base of the jar.
